Professor Emma Sanchez nominated to serve as Chair of National Institutes of Health Study Section

Because of her demonstrated competency and achievement in her scientific discipline, Dr. Sanchez was nominated to serve as Chair of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) Mentored Clinical and Basic Science Study Section (MCBS). As Chair, she will play a key role in leading the review of grant applictions submitted to the NHLBI.
