Biography

Ms. Vasanth is a Research Associate with public health research experience. She has taught undergraduate and graduate-level research methods courses (Epidemiology and Biostatstics) in the Department of Public Health at San Francisco State University (SFSU) and undergraduate Statistics courses in the Department of Public Health at San Jose State University (SJSU). She earned a Masters of Public Health degree (MPH) from SFSU and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from MAHER University, India. Ms. Vasanth has worked as an intern dentist with a clinical focus, as a program coordinator of health care quality in a health insurance company and as a program manager at a large technological company. This journey brought her back to academia and research, where she derives the most joy. Being a part of the research team has allowed her to contribute to literature reviews, research writing, data extraction, background research and the development of manuscripts.
