Metztli Castro

Metztli has spent the past 7 years working in sexual health & HIV prevention with an emphasis on marginalized communities locally, nationally, and globally. Metztli has worked as an HIV tester and case manager, co-launched an HIV/STI testing clinic in South Sacramento, and currently works to provide free at-home HIV testing at the national level and as an outreach/recruitment coordinator for the Hermanos de Luna Y Sol study. They are a current MPH student at SFSU and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Gender and Women’s Studies from UC Berkeley.
