Amy Ranger has worked in adolescent health for over 20 years, with a particular focus on school-based health centers. She started her career as a Health Educator at a high school SBHC in Union City; spent many years training adults on adolescent health topics at Health Initiatives for Youth, and ran multiple child and adolescent health promotion programs through the City of Berkeley.  At La Clinica de La Raza, she managed a department of eight school-based health centers for over 8 years. As the current Director of Programs for California School-Based Health Alliance, she supports the expansion of SBHCs throughout the state and promotes school health best practices.  She has an MPH from San Jose State University.  She enjoys hiking, baking, and spending time with her wife and two teenage daughters.
