Dr. Robin Flagg has over 25 years of experience in health policy development and advocacy. She has worked with numerous organizations including the California Association of Public Hospitals, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in the US Department of Health and Human Services, and Kaiser Permanente. Additionally, Dr. Flagg was the Director of Health Policy at the California Medical Association. Dr. Flagg’s research interests include state policy making and health care politics with a focus on Medicaid expansion. Dr. Flagg is lecturer faculty in the UC Berkeley, School of Public Health and San Francisco State University. She received both her MPH in Health Policy and Administration and her PhD in Health Services and Policy Analysis from UC Berkeley. Her BA was in Art History from Williams College. Following her BA, she worked for 3 years with US Peace Corps in Nepal.
