Vincent Lam, MPH is currently the Graduate Program Coordinator for SF State's Master of Public Health Program in Community Health Education. He teaches in both the undergraduate and graduate programs for the Department of Health Education. With a long history at SF State as an alumnus (BA in Psychology / Minor in AAS '09 & MPH '11) and working as a college health educator (Counseling & Psychological Services Center and Health Promotion & Wellness), his scope of work has included wellness/mental health promotion, sexual violence prevention, alcohol & other drugs, health communications strategies and student leadership development. As a public health practitioner and educator, his application of work is grounded in cultural humility, social justice/health equity and illuminating the intersections of health and education through expressive arts pedagogy and culture.
