Sanchez-Vaznaugh investigates strategies for elementary schools to help children be physically active

"With support from UC San Diego’s Physical Activity Research Center, a team of researchers (including students and alumni from SF State’s Department of Health Education) led by Professor Emma Sanchez-Vaznaugh set out to learn about how low-resourced elementary schools decide to prioritize and implement physical activity strategies to help students achieve the daily recommendations of 60 minutes of physical activity. She discusses the study’s findings in an interview in The State of Obesity, an annual report series."
