Rebanal named Health Equity Institute Faculty Scholar

"Assistant Professor of Health Education David Rebanal is a new faculty scholar at SF State’s Health Equity Institute. The institute’s Faculty Scholar Program supports SF State faculty members pursuing external funding for health equity scholarship, professional activities and other products. Rebanal’s overall research objectives focus on building evidence for policies focused on the social determinants of racial health inequities, and his current research examines the roles of neighborhood features including racial residential segregation and immigrant political participation on mental health."
