"Laura Mamo, Health Equity Institute Professor of Health Education, was awarded a best abstract award in the education track at the 24th Congress of the World Association for Sexual Health in Mexico City. The award was for her presentation, “Storytelling in Sexual Health Research: Methods of Collecting, Listening, and Disrupting Narratives.” The presentation reflected the methodological innovation of a Ford Foundation-funded research project, The Beyond Bullying Project, co-led with former SF State Professor of Sociology Jessica Fields and York University Professor Jen Gilbert."
