"On October 18, the Metro CHSS Tenure Track Faculty Learning Community expanded to include faculty from all six colleges and the Library. Metro College Success Program Director of Curriculum and Faculty Development Savita Malik (MPH '07) and Department of Health Education Chair Marty Martinson led faculty and deans at an event to kick off the new community, which will hold a winter institute in January and follow-up sessions with trained facilitators the next calendar year. Twenty-six new tenure track faculty participated in this first event.

CHSS, Metro, the Division of Undergraduate Education and Academic Planning and the Center for Equity and Excellence in Teaching and Learning collaborated to support first-year tenure track faculty in exploring their teaching practice."
