"Both the Bachelor of Science in Health Education and the Master of Public Health in Community Health Education programs received accreditation from the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) for seven years, the longest term possible. The MPH program was initially accredited in 2003 for a seven-year term; the current seven-year accreditation term was awarded October 2017 and extends to December 31, 2024.

CEPH is an independent agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit schools of public health and public health programs outside schools of public health. CEPH assists schools and programs in evaluating the quality of their instructional, research and service efforts, and grants accreditation to those schools and programs that meet its published criteria."
