Wolin and Rebanal Receives Grant on Addressing Children and Youth Vulnerabilities

"Jessica Wolin, clinical faculty in health education, and David Rebanal, assistant professor of health education, received a grant from San Mateo County Health System to examine the effectiveness of the Community Collaboration for Children’s Success (CCCS) in identifying and developing strategies that address children and youth vulnerabilities. CCCS is an 18-month community planning effort to identify priorities in addressing the health of the most vulnerable children and families in San Mateo County using a place-based and trauma-informed approach. In particular, SF State faculty are working with San Mateo County Public Health staff and community members to understand at how successfully the project implements trauma-informed practices in its planning process, while providing on-going feedback to guide their efforts."
